Squares- WALA: Addition and subtraction with numbers to 1000 alongside learning about time and reading/drawing clocks. Next Step: To use a range of strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.

I am in the seals group. I am actually in the seals group which is the next group up. We do the same as the advanced dolphins but faster and further. When you jump into the water and someone splashes you it feels like raindrops it like someone is drawing dots on your face.It all so feels refreshing it's like the ocean it splashes on me. When I am swimming it feels like I am a mermaid. Something I did well was doing breaststroke. I am working on doing a standard dive.

On the 22nd of February on Wednesday Room 6 went on the Waka at Clive River we had to wait for our turn it was a very hot day. My Granny took Me Coral Stella.Yay it was finally our turn.Before we went on the Waka the man said a few things which was weapons and how to hold the Hoi.Then they helped put the life jackets on each person. Yey it was finally our turn so we walked into the Waka it had a lot of dizziness on the Waka. There were sets on the Waka every body sat.l did the paddling first then Wilbur when we got to the bridge it was very echoey and loud! Then I swopped with Lily's dad it was hard on the left I did the paddling for a will on the left side. Then I swapped with Wilbur it was easy on on right but not on the left! The man started speaking we started floating back to the bridge he said we should start to keep paddling fored. So everyone did.We got far so we started to go back the time we got back to school was lunch time I felt good Kelly got sea sick.

 In writing we are learning to write about recounts 
Something I did well was using interesting details
 Something I need to work on is finishing my recounts with a sentence about how I felt.
